In game? No. In the tower? Possibly. The hunter cloak is the unique piece of gear for that class. It is a defining feature. Thus i dont see them removing it. Unless u simply do not equip it. Then if its not equiped. Youll be all set.
However higher tier class items may have stats. We simply dont know.
