Are you still enforcing the "no outlined features on the ball" rule?

I'm not sure what you are trying to say.

In Death's original guideline, it says that there should be no black lines in the ball except the outside circle and the eyes.

There can be black lines if they're part of the actual design. You just shouldn't use them to separate colors needlessly because it looks bad.
