Some more spartan questions.. (I like Spartans)
1: When Kat was killed by a single needle in Halo: Reach, was that because she didn't have her shields on? Or did it just kill her regardless.
2: Can a single 8 gauge shotgun shell actually kill a fully shielded spartan? Or was that just an in game thing?
3: Do Spartans carry the weapons on their backs with magnets?
4: (separating from the spartan theme) When the Sangheili and San Shyuum first discovered the Lekgolo, what did the Lekgolo use as the armored shell when they formed Mgalekgolo? (Or did they not have armor?) And what is the armor made of around 2552?

1. Her shields weren't activated. They were presumably deactivated due to the severe amount of radiation. 2. In-game 3. Yes. 4. It seems they did use armor to some extent. By the time they joined the Covenant, the Mgalekgolo gestalts were using armor made out of the same material as Covenant hull plating.
