So far as I can tell we will have Venus, Earth, The Moon, and Mars to explore. That is potential 329 million square miles of area. I'm sure that the entire surface on each will not be accessible. Still, there is a lot of area for them to play with. I saw an article earlier that each planet will be about the size of the Halo Reach game. Does anyone have any idea what that translates to in sq mi/km?

The Alpha was big itself and that was ONE area on Earth. ONE. There will be so many different secret locations also. This game isn't going to be big. It's going to be MASSIVE

I say pretty -BLAM-ing big

Earth alone is massive you have old Russia, old Chicago, an Indian location that I can't remember the name of and ruins of Europe or something all of that alone is huge but on top of that there are Venus, Mercury, Mars, The Reef, Europa (Jupiter moon) and you can bet multiple locations on each planet/moon and with the 10 year life if the game you can bet bundgie will release more locations over time.... So excited for this game can't wait :-)

Bungie have said already that each planet is about the same size as the whole halo reach game...... So its going to be massive

id say the whole game would be less then 14 square killos from what i saw from the alpha unless i missed somthing unfortunelty i don think is gonna be that big it will be good but not so big
