1. Who (in armor) has the most raw strength, spartan II's or elites? Like if Sam and Thel arm wrestled, who would win?
2. Are there any advantages that spartan IV's have over spartan II's? (Augmentation wise)
3. (This one might be confusing, or not make any sense, or based on false information) in halo CE I believe I remember Guilty Spark remarking on how effective human weapons are against the flood. Is this true? And if so is it just for gameplay or are human weapons actually better for killing flood?

Hand to hand combat I would say the Spartans are a few steps ahead of the Elites. Not so much by strength, but by reflexes and skill in martial arts from years of training.

My head canon is that they found some way to keep oxygen in the body longer so they don't need to breathe as much.

If that actually was one, it was for the original SPARTAN-IV program.

For 3, Spark comments on how [i]ineffective[/i] they are, which is true, because in canon the best way to kill flood is with burning weapons like plasma to destroy the cellular structure.
