I was so scared, I thought I was the only one who hasn't received the actual beta code

The code you get when you pre-order the game needs to be entered into the redeem code section on your Bungie.net profile. Bungie will then email you the download code for the Beta, once the Beta is launched, to the email that is verified on your Bungie.net profile. Remain calm guys. It won't be long.
