Gnats are worse. Well, more irritating at least. Can you get rid of them instead?
-
Gnats aren't common in my area. I don't think I've been bitten by one for more than a decade. :/
-
I don't get bitten by them very often but they swarm around your face sooo much it's so annoying. I live in Middle Georgia, and once you go like 30 miles north of where I live the gnats basically vanish.
-
I live in North Florida, but the closes thing to gnats I get are tiny flies that just want to party on your face. And they are only around at certain hours on certain days. Then it's mosquito central.
I also live near a lot of fresh water. Prime mosquito breeding grounds.
You also just killed dragonflies.

Dragonflies arent the only thing that will die. Plenty of fish and things. The things that eat those fish Things that eat the things that eat the fish. The decomposers that eat all of the above after they die. A single species disappearing is a very very destructive thing.
-
I don't think the purpose of this thread is to worry about how the removal of a species breaks the food chain.
-
Nobody ever thinks about it though. Its possible some idiot is going to create a disease to kill all the misquotes or something and the world will die so better to get the knowledge out there.

That's why people are voting humanity.
