Yeah, that's one thing I'm not a huge fan of. I think you still show up on radar even if you're crouching, but I'm not sure. I'd like to see that changed at some point.
The radar itself, however, is very interesting as it only tells you the proximity of your enemy, not his exact location.

Hmmm I see me too then. I think it should just flash maybe for like a split second if someone is nearby but I also like the way it functions overall thanks man.
