Over the past year or so ACG (Air Combat Group) the flight sim community I am a part of have been working hard on this movie "The Beginning of the End". Today, June 6th, we are proud to release it onto Youtube for everyone to see, every voice you hear and every plane that is flying is piloted by members of there respective virtual squadrons. I partook in some of these scenes as a member of 4./JG26 (4th Staffel Jagdgeschwader 26) and the squadron of spitfires lifting off during the raid. A lot of blood sweat and tears was poured into this, and those who edited it worked extremely hard to make it as good as it could be.
"The Beginning of the End" tells the story of the Battle of Britain from both sides, all the aircraft, engagements and squadrons are based on actual combat engagements, the proper aircraft that fought there and of course the actual squadrons. It is fitting this movie was released on the 70th anniversary of D-day, it was also made to honor those who fell during the Battle of Britain and of course all those who paid the ultimate price during the war.
Enjoy and please tell me what you think!

Tremendous video, job well done! This is a great way to bring history to life! I particularly liked the scene with the Spitfires escaping the airfield as it was being bombed, intense stuff.
