HALO / HAHO Jumping exists so what the real point of going up to space to drop from . It will just be a waste of time , money and fuel . Soldiers dont need HUD's to aim - it works in a game but irl soldiers train for 6 months learning that shit. Body armour exists but I guess rechargable shielding could be developed( i know thats for spartans but im just saying) . Body armour could be further developed to be stronger and not force you back when you get shot also . Helmets that go around the whole head rather than just the cranium would be useful . It could be done I guess but the problem is military adoption and a HUD that provides information on the visor . Don't soldiers already get that from other sources . Also how would it be powered ? The basic idea already exists I guess . ODST's are basically paratroopers mixed in with special forces .
