Well, think about it, if it was in May or June, wouldn't it get old after a while?

No. Have the beta run for a month or so before taking it down and setting to work reviewing commentary and deciding what needs to be fixed.

But normally Betas run until the game comes out, and they update as the Beta runs and they get feedback.
