Thanks a lot bungie, for nothing.

I have waited a long time to see the next bungie title. Hearing rumors that PC will be involved. But bungie obviously does not care about content quality; they just want to cater to their little console babies who think that pc is overpriced or that the controls are difficult. I have waited years to see if bungie would finally release a game with the full potential of their imagination (something that only PC can truly do) but no instead they deny that pc is better and say that its "Too hard" for the company that made the amazingly popular franchise "Halo" to release one PC game. They obviously want their legacy to DIE with the "Next Gen" underpowered consoles that still cant support crysis 3 on ultra and don't even have the power to play recent games with the full potential. These consoles will lose all ability to play any new games within 4 years unless something changes (and it won't). I am disappointed in the company that I used to have a dream to work for; but that is far out of the question now.

  • PCs are far more powerful than consoles, so technologically, the PC is superior. However, deciding on which is better is subject to opinion. I believe the reason many gamers like consoles more is because they are extremely simple to use. For instance, on the console editions of Minecraft, you can set up a game simply by pressing a button to start the game and inviting your friends. On the PC, however, if you want to play a private game with your friends, you or a friend will have to set up a server, which will cost money, unless you use Hamachi or something like that. For many people, this is either extra money they do not want to spend, or just too complicated. Other people, like me, enjoy using consoles because social interaction is much more accessible. Again, with a click of a button, you can have your friend with you in a private or group chat, and it's all integrated into the console. On the PC, however, many games do not have built-in chat systems, excluding text-based chat. Because of this, if you want to talk to your friends while playing together on the PC, you have to set up a Skype chat, which is just an extra hoop to jump through. Couple this with setting up a server, and setting up a multiplayer game on the PC can become rather annoying. Now on to my next point. Sure, the PC is much more powerful than consoles, especially in the graphic area. However, just because you can not play Crysis 3 with 'ultra' graphics on an Xbox 360 does not make the game any less fun to play. I personally do not measure how good a game is by the graphic quality, and I know many people agree with me. If the majority of people really cared about graphics so much, then games like Minecraft or Terraria would not be popular. My point being is that you should not be disappointed in Bungie because they did not make their game any greater for the PC. The PC may be the superior machine, but graphics do not affect the gameplay of the game. Also, deciding which is better is subject to opinion. It's like the old Playstation vs. Xbox feud. Sure, the PS4 is technologically superior to the Xbox One, but many gamers prefer the Xbox One to the PS4, and that's a completely valid opinion to have. Everyone has their own opinions, and those opinions are not always based on what others base their opinions on.
