Beta PS4 users

I share my ps4 and the ps plus isnt on my account but i can still play online and everything because its on my brothers account. But will i have to redeem my beta code on my brothers account? and will i be able to play the beta on my account?

As long as the account has PS Plus on it. Xbox Live users must have Gold to play online, and Sony mimicked Microsoft with this move.
