Yes they did... DeeJ himself has stated many times that the beta will be released in the summer!

I am saying that they never told us the spring announcement was wrong, we know it will be in Summer, but it might start late spring.

But it's going to start in the summer... Otherwise DeeJ would be saying " beta starts in spring".

So you are saying that June 21st is early 2014? Bungie isn't hesitant to edit past statements, try finding the Arcus Regime drawing board, it's been removed, probably because it didn't fit. Why would they not edit the moon trailer or even leave it at display on the home page if it wasn't at least a small bit accurate?

I'm not sure how familiar you are with the whole gaming scene but how many times have you heard a publisher announce a date for something, and actually see it get pushed ahead?

I've seen plenty of things be delayed but summer isn't "soon", May is. June IMO isn't early 2014, so either beta is in May, or we will "soon" become legend some other way.

No I meant pushed ahead as in comes sooner then they announce! First they said early 2014, then they said spring 2014 now they are summer 2014! If the sept 9 release date is a for sure thing then it can't come any earlier or later than summer!

They said "Become Legend: Early 2014", "Destiny Beta: Spring 2014", and finally "We've got the Beta coming this summer". I hope we get the Beta "soon" but this is the end of the eight weeks, technically still early 2014 right now, so we will become legend somehow "soon".
