You Marty Fans make up about 1 percent. Most people including my friends aren't upset at all and don't care if he got fired. Heck, they don't even know who he is. They just want Destiny and so does the Rest of the community. This isn't a cult, It's a video game Company/Business.
Cry me a river.
*Watches The Fan boys with swords charging* Oh NO!!
The covenant has captured Marty. It is so, that Marty has acsended to wards the Great Journey.
As for his Followers. They shall Perish before the Hand of Helix.
Resistance is futile.

Edited by FAITH12: 4/17/2014 5:58:00 PMYou sir are an imbecile. It isn't just about Marty but how it has played out publicly. If you've been around here long enough you'll know that this isn't the Bungie way of handling a situation like this. Marty is a grizzled ancient. Do you understand what that represents in Bungie lore? He isn't just an employee you dismiss if he misbehaves. Unless of course Bungie has become something else entirely, an actual company. This is a company that took Microsoft's offer on being bought out because "Microsoft was building a gun pointed at Sony's head" and they wanted to be the bullet. This is a company that makes games they want to play, sales trends be damned. This is a company that sold off it's baby so that no big corporate executive would dictate their agenda. This is a company that negotiated on it's own terms with the biggest third party publisher in the world and, at least on the surface, won. Bungie is not just another company, they're not just another business. Bungie always conveyed themselves as takers of the high road. What was done to Marty is anything but representative of what Bungie has told us they are.
