Simple question.
I think Richard Nixon betrayed the America people after Watergate, other than that, I don't know much else...

Richard Nixon did great things and was a very well liked president while in office. He finally cracked China open, and as a result we enjoy many of the products we do today. He started arms reduction talks with the soviets, and for the first time in decades Americans felt safe in their own homes. He put an end to the runaway war in Vietnam, and people could finally come together after an era of civil unrest. He had the guts to step down and save the nation from the chain reaction his impeachment would set off. America, and much of the world, has Richard Nixon to thank for a lot more than that too. I don't think his campaign spying diminished that any, and I don't think it's fair to presume that other presidents haven't done the same thing. I guarantee Obama did it, he listens to calls just for lulz. What politician betrayed their people the most? I would have to say LBJ. But that's just because I believe he was behind the Kennedy assassination. I won't make my case here, the proof is all in history books.
