Last Chance Ch.2: "It's Just for the Money Right?"

Courier chapter: So this is it huh? D7? This place is disgusting. Well, i guess i'm exaggerating. Sure it's gross, An old wooden dive bar with barely any light and a serious lake of manners in it's inhabitants. but, it's not as bad as other places I've had to go to. Even though people won't recognize me from my armor, I flip up my hood just to make sure i don't draw too much attention. I walk past a few tables that are bursting with all sorts of colorful profanity to the bar where an old looking fella, (somethin's telling me early 60s) is counting the number of glasses on the rack behind the bar. Pulling up a stool, i sit down and tap on the wooden bar. The old "gentleman" spins around practically at the speed of light, (probably a paranoid veteran, used to the sudden surprises on the battlefield.) he's got a lazy eye, hair all knotted and dirty, something that looks like motor oil on his face, and wrinkles everywhere. He slowly struts over to me, leaning forward and pressing his nose up against my helmet. "Boo" i whisper to the old bastard. He jumps back and it almost looks like he's dizzy. Re centering himself, he finally speaks. "What'da want you freakin' robot?" Knew it, He thinks i'm an Exo. "look old timer," I say, " I just wanna know where someone is OK?" He leans back a second, looking me over. "Fine, who do you need to see?" I sit up. "Abzats" I say. "Hmm... Oh yeah! he's the scary looking fellar' in the back." He points over to my right, I see a small corner in the back of the room that's almost completely shrouded in darkness. I get up to leave, "Thanks" I say. I walk over to the direction that the old bartender pointed at and I question if he pointed to the right table. After i get closer, I discard that theory, as i can make a out a figure sitting with his hands folded at the opposite end of the direction i'm facing. I reach the table and pull up a chair. Abzats unfolds his hands and holds out his right hand. I shake his hand and say, "Abzats I presume?" He pulls his hand back and slides a portfolio forward towards me. "The Courier, here you are finally." he says, I make a mental that he has a very thick-and deep voice to go along with his-Russian accent. "I assume you were sent here by Leonardo? The man who wanted information on Rain?" he says. I'm taken back at how he would know that, but i don't let it show. "Yes, Mr. Adams said that i should come find you, and well, I found you." Abzats grunts and continues, "Mr. Adams was defiantly well informed. I do know a thing or two about our friend Rain, but you see, Information has a price." Of course it does. Abzats slides the portfolio closer, "Open it." he instructs. I open the portfolio and observe the contents. There are a few crudely drawn notes, a letter, and a photo of a small awoken kid. his hair is a few inches longer than it should be, and he looks angry; eyebrows are lowered and furrowed, and he's got quite an angry frown on him. "His name is Ratall." Abzats says. I set the picture down and look back at Abzats. "um... Ok? what does this have to do with Rain though?" Abzats chuckles. "Information has a price, and this is my price. If you can take Ratall to Europa, (Jupiter's largest moon) I will pay you handsomely, and give you anything and everything i Know about Rain." I ponder this odd offer for a moment and say. "Yeah, No thanks I'll fi-" Abzats cuts me off. "But i don't understand. according to my knowledge; you do not care what the job was, is, or will be. you're just in it for the money. aren't you? It's just for the money right?" I sit there for a moment, dumbstruck. This guy defiantly knows to much for his own good. But before i can say anything he stands up and says. "Good choice! i'll see you on Europa! By the way, you'll find a little gift from me on the way out. Good bye!" And that was that. Abzats got up and left. i decided i had no choice but to take the job. But there's one small problem. Where in the hell is this kid?
