Evil Gigginox
I was trying to get gigginox materials in the hunt 3 gigginox quest and, being an idiot, forgot to bring any potions or antidotes. This meant that every time I got poisoned, it was an instant death.
I had one life left and then I got poisoned from accidentally rolling at the final gigginox.
It then roared 4 times in succession just so I couldn't use a med pack or get healed by cha cha.
Anyone else have stupid stories or a most hated monster?

5 RepliesIt's more of a stupid story then a hated monster, but back when I first picked up mh3u I played with two friends. We all go out on a mission to hunt a low-rank rathian and they go dashing off when the mission starts and start tracking him and start the fight against him. Meanwhile I'm just basically skipping around the other areas picking herbs and bugs for the rest of the mission.

Edited by Luis: 2/25/2014 12:38:26 PMWell the monster I hate most is in monster hunter freedom unite,the Congalala,hate them,there always jumping,and hitting me when I get an opening(I use great swords),than it has an attack where it throws a large ball of shit at you,when you get hit by the dung it gives you a symptom where you smell bad,which disables you from using healing items,only a deodorant,deodorant bomb,or waiting for it to get of which is a long time for me,and when I use a deodorant it would likely attack me when it has that opening.

I was killed by a Rehenopolis once while fighting an Uragaan. I've also been killed by the Uragaan just walking into me without attacking.

4 RepliesI friggin hate giginox. I don't even bother using my gun lance against him anymore, I just use a bow or bowgun. Giginox ruined MH3U for me
