Well Kotaku has an article on Square Enix's crowd source pitch for World War Machine. It's show casing some great concept art for a world where humanity is dead except for those humans who uploaded their minds into massive computer networks.
Unfortunately some of these nodes took damage from the extinction event and went a little mad. So a perpetual war has broken out with War Machines as surrogates for these Ai Human intellects bordering on almost animalistic biomechanics.
The concept art looks a cross between Shadow of the Colossus with moss and flapping canvases draped over splash silhouettes painted in, but the idea is an RPG cross with FPS featuring interchangeable robotic monstrosities.
All in all it looks pretty cool and they want to go the BF3 route with destructible environments.
You guys know me. Giant monsters or giant monster robots and I'm in... like a kid on a giant dinosaur with his pet tiger.

Edited by Derp: 2/13/2014 3:39:19 PMThere's still a chance the game may not receive support from Square Enix right? Isn't the public voting on which game they want Square Enix to support out of the the three Indie titles?
You guys know me.
... Nope...
