You are in charge of bomber command during World War 2...

The year is 1942 and the German Luftwaffes blitz against London has slowed, there demand for aircraft on the eastern front and losses over Britain have severely diminished there capabilities to wage an air war over Britain. You are in charge of bomber command which will now we be used to damage/destroy German infrastructure in France and Germany respectively. However your targets must be selected carefully and have good purpose for the resources given to you. The U.S. 8th Air force has now started to arrive in Britain and is available to use as well. The Americans bomb during the day and the RAF during night. You can choose to target German industrial capacity and supply lines, or go for electrical sub stations and other critical civilian and sometimes military structures including cities. Now historically bomber command decided that they should bomb German industry to put a hamper on there production capabilities, and bomb Berlin to reduce morale. The RAF under Harris decided to effectively terror bomb German cities, a good example of this is Dresden to completely demoralize the German people by killing/destroying there homes. (I am not going to debate anyone about the bombing of German cities in this thread, we can do that privately or I may even start another thread on it). While the RAF targeted other obvious military targets this is technically a legitimate choice you could of course go on and argue your case. Its up to you guys and i am intrigued to as what you would do! Edit: I should point out that towards the D-day invasion they started to target military formations, roads, bridges and coastal areas around France to hamper troop movements.
