I would suggest a little more contrast between the back and foreground. It's all very light and is giving the impression of being flat and blending all together. If you'd like something to catch the eyes and give a feeling of importance, as it's the cover, darken up some parts. Maybe the hill the character is standing on. Very nice job so far and good luck with the animating!
