Xbox One has cloud processing

The Playstation 4 doesn't. What does cloud processing do? First and foremost, it is an obvious win for the Xbox One. While the PS4 may have superior hardware, the Xbox One closes the gap with cloud processing. And it can even exceed the gap. Just imagine, developers will have more processing power on Xbox One due to cloud processing. Once developers learn the technology, the potential is limitless. Not enough power to add more enemies? Use the cloud. Long load times bogging down the game? Use the cloud. Want to create a giant playspace with a lot of things to do with no performance impact whatsoever? Just use the cloud. Cloud processing is the future of gaming, and I'm glad Microsoft recognized that. While the PS4 is concerned with gaming in the present, the Xbox One is the console of the future, and the future is near. You're welcome.

  • Holy crap guys...I just realized.....that anyone who thinks 1080p and 60fps makes a game great is an idiot. Ok, so I lied, I already knew that. However, the emphasis on all of this is getting a little ridiculous. The majority of you, if you were given one of copy of the game randomly with no access to the other would not be able to point out the difference, and even then, with a direct comparison, some of you would get it wrong. And yes, this is relevant, because if you search out topics about the cloud processing and comparison of the two consoles in general, this is the underlying argument for all the tech heads (of which most just think higher numbers equal better gameplay). Play Risk of Rain, Minecraft, Terreria, Braid, Super Meat Boy, etc. It wouldn't matter what resolution those games were in because they are amazing games each in their own right and stand on their own two feet through gameplay alone. The future generation of gamers and a lot in the current are going to ruin gaming if they keep up the emphasis on resolution and framerate. "Well as long as it looks pretty and moves twice as fast as the human eye can render it, then people will like it" SO NOT TRUE
