  • The ghost has been stated to be a plot element, so discussing him would reveal story details. And enemy equipment has been described, just not in extreme detail. For example, we know Fallen weapons in good detail, and know weapons that the Hive wield. Plus, you can envision the types of weapons enemies will wield in accordance to their culture. Cabal could utilize launchers and other heavy equipment in addition to their Gatling guns. And the Vex are from alternate times, so you can expect some cool stuff.

  • Fallen flying contraptions are referred to as shanks. Also, the Cabal have jet-packs as well as the Psion, which can levitate objects. And Hive wizards utilize magic, potentially including the ability to summon more basic hive.

  • Magic isn't gear or tech , I just want to know what every ones tech capabilities are. Like goverments do all the time with other goverments, trying to see best strategy for attack land ,sea,or air .lighting war fare or burn and run. I need info for tactics that probably won't work. :)

All enemy factions have been implied to have rather strict hierarchies. The Fallen are divided into houses and scavenge as clans, implying that you will encounter them in clusters, resulting in short battles if you have strong preemptive strikes. The Hive have loose coordination, probably united by one controlling mind. They will be, as we have observed in videos, fought in waves, wearing you down unless you have good support. The Cabal are heavily armed and have strong coordination, so you will have to wear them down until you can neutralize them tactically. The Vex also have been seen to fight in smaller groups in comparison to Hive and Cabal, though larger than Fallen. They appear to have greater ferocity as well, plus they could be very troublesome if you combat them near one of their gates.

You can also observe the environments that we have observed our enemies in. The Cabal have been seen in the open spaces of mars, relying on their armor for cover, rather than natural elements. You could get around them and gain an edge, especially with the strength of heavy weapons and supers. Hive have been seen in close quarters, tearing at guardians with claw and sword. AOE damage will definitely help in your endeavors. Fallen constantly dive behind cover, rallied by captains for swift strikes. Kill it, and coordination will cripple. Vex are placed in spaces narrow in nature, with a few pieces of cover scattered about, and there head-shot immunity will definitely throw off guardians. They can be assumed to have comprehensive strategy of both open and closed spaces. And above all, the AI has been boasted to learn from your own developed strategies. In long battles, enemies will eventually realize how you are going about a specific situation, and will do their best to counter your delicate plots of destruction.

  • Nice. I like a game where the AI eventually adapts.
