Why do people not believe the Earth is flat when it has been proven?

Because curved thinking is really difficult. And we wouldn't be able to execute anyone by kicking them off the edge of the earth anymore!

Well if we allow the lie that the earth is round to spread then WEE would be a thing of the past. It would be "accepting heresy" to the very heretics we fight against.
