What is the actual difference between the 2 games? I haven't bought BF4 yet as i fear it's just BF3.5 on the PC. We already have 64 players and gud graphics so i don't see those as differences. The whole command network thing sounds like a cluster-blam!- that noone follows, also the Stealth/Ground jet turns me off as i always used the F/A-18 as a multi-purpose jet.
So pretty much what are the major changes to BF4 and gameplay? I don't want to waste 60 dollars on BF3.5
also liek what guns are in BF4. I want to know that too.

On the 360, from what I've seen, looks pretty much exactly the same, but with many more bugs and crashes. On the new consoles however, I'm sure there's a significant jump. On PC, I have no knowledge at all.

Edited by Gingers Unite: 1/8/2014 1:57:50 PMBF4 has amazing guns and sights. I currently have an M16 with a Acog sight and canted Iron sight and its great. After just playing BFBC the destructability in BF4 is disappointing. I can't blow up walls to pieces and blow up cover but the levolution in that game is pretty sick. I have noticed only one bug on my X1 version and it just erased all my progress for a single match but it seems to run smooth for me

Edited by Mr Coco: 1/8/2014 2:34:29 AMIf you're on console, then it finally does 64 man teams. Otherwise, pretty good level design, levelution, different weapons (2 new weapons to dominate the entire sandbox instead of the M16A3, etc...), tweaks in animations to look nicer, new engine that runs smoother, perks only given if your squad works together, swimming improved (fast swim with sprint, combat while swimming) for naval focus, redesigned loadouts, better stat tracking, entirely different progression system (your rank doesn't influence the guns you unlock), etc... At its core, its a lot like Battlefield 3, with a lot of polishing and small design changes to make the game play smoother. You don't really need to worry about server problems if you play it on PC. And ummm, the most notable weapons in the game are: ACE23, M416, M249, ACE23 CQB, M40A5, AK5C, MTAR-21, MG4, UMP-9, SRR-61. I would just look them up. You can also mix a lot of weapons up. Each class has access to all carbines, DMRs (semi auto snipers), and shotguns as primary weapons. If you decide to get it on PC, shoot me a message if you're looking for someone to communicate with!

It's more of a change on console. Other then there it should be an expansion. Also the Commander Mode is an old feature. No one follows orders without proper team communication, although squad leaders have been known to make commanders look like arrogant -blam!-. However the commanders role is more of support.
-
The difference for people who made the upgrade from the older consoles is pretty significant.
-
BF4 has more bugs.
-
You can actually play BF3 without server crashes.
-
I don't understand how a game so similar in structure could be infested with so many bugs.

Edited by BannedLemön: 1/8/2014 1:08:05 AMThe number in the title is the only difference.
