• Why not preorder it now?

 • No need. Why rush into something that is so far off? That and I still have seen hardly anything from them that makes me really want this game yet.

 • The game is far off, but most ppl preordered it when it was still scheduled to release in spring. And they are Bungie. Have faith. The game looks great. Not the best graphics I admit but that's not what they're going for. It just looks fun to play
And they are Bungie. Have faith.
That really doesn't mean anything to me anymore. Halo CE - Great game, made me buy Halo 2 Halo 2 - Great game - made me buy Halo 3 Halo 3 - Great game - made me buy Halo 3: ODST Halo 3: ODST - meh. Why? Filler. Halo Reach beta - Darn near kept me from buying Reach. I gave it the benefit of the doubt that it was just a beta and that they would 'fix' what I felt was 'Not Halo' about the game. They didn't. Halo Reach - I seriously felt this game was a giant step backwards compared to the first 3. So much was different in ways I could never grow to appreciate, making it by far my most disliked game, ever. It lead me to believe that they threw it together just to get out from under the M$ contract. So in my eyes there is a rebuilding that needs to take place of sorts. I know far more people who were in on the early editions that also feel as I do about Reach. The newer segment of players who came to B.net for Reach will disagree, but if they weren't around before, they have no idea hos awesome the others were in their day. There is a higher standard of their own making that has not yet been eclipsed or close to being yet met, imo.

 • I've been on Bnet for a while. I remember all the Halo games and I loved the first three. I actually thought ODST was a decent game, considering it was originally meant to be an expansion pack. Reach is a far different story. I hated Reach. The campaign was mediocre, the Firefight was repetitive, I hated the matchmaking maps (except for Halo CEA) and in my opinion the only good thing about it were the Custom Games. But as much as it didn't feel like Halo (and it didn't) it was only one game out of Bungie's whole history of great gaming experiences. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I'm not gonna not buy Destiny because of one bad game.
