We have learned that laptops float sometimes," one of the developers of small indie studio Hello Games Tweeted late today, breaking what appears to be the unfortunate news that the offices of one of 2013's most exciting indie studios have all but been ruined.

Oh god. Water moves really quick. Hello Games has been totally flooded. Everything in the office has pretty much been lost :(
Damn English weather. You've gone and destroyed one of the most interesting game for years!
EDIT This has been bumped by annoying peoples, the game is fine, go about your daily business EDIT

I'm surprised they didn't back any of it up on external drives or some secure online server. Even I backup my stuff and store it in separate locations so if anything happens I have a place to go and retrieve it. Hardware can be bought back and replaced but hard work and projects files can never be fully made the same exact way again. My files are more valuable than my expensive computers. I'd figure a game company would have had some sort of security like this too. oh well.
