So Starting Pokemon Gender in X and Y...
So I just got Pokemon Y today, and I really want a female Fennekin as a starter. For some reason though, Game Freak in their infinite wisdom decided to make it so that you only get a Female Fennekin 12.5% of the time. Needless to say, I've tried ten times and there has not been a single female Fennekin.
I saved outside of Aquacorde to reduce the turnaround time, but I'm starting to become concerned and paranoid that this shit is preseeded at the start of the game. Have any gender hunters out there had any success with this method?

Well if you'd like a female Torchic with Speed Boost 3 perfect IVs, and knows Night Shade then let me know. I have boxes of Torchics I need to lose.
