Scientists Identify A Cause Of Aging In Mammals And We're Able To Treat It

Scientists had previous tried to effect aging by tinkering with telomeres. The issue with that is that they play a role in mitosis so they had a large risk of causing cancers and other nasty problems. This however corrects the decay in cellular communication between mitochondria and the nucleus. This means that a middle aged man can have the body of a healthy 20 year old if the results maintain consistent in human trials, though that is a while down the road. If this is as promising as it sounds, we could be looking at cancer rates dropping off a cliff and potentially expanding the human lifespan. This could rid people of arthritis, chrones disease and so much more. Here's hoping it holds up. Keep in mind, this doesn't mean we stop aging all together, there are other factors in aging but this is a major one. EDIT: Did some research and talked with some people about it. You can get NAD from supplimentation of Niacin (B3). Look into it yourself, do not take this as medical advice and consult your doctor before including it in your diet if you consider it. • The problem is $$$$$. For a while this will probably be something only the wealthy can afford. I don't think we should worry about extreme population issues because if it becomes extensive and it's use widespread we can expect birthrates to drop like a rock
