Living Quarters and interactions within it.

One of the things I've noticed about the difference between GTA V and Skyrim on housing quarters for your character is with forum users placing in posts from time to time asking Bungie about character homes. Skyrim basically served as storage and display mounts with game interaction on what you collected via the alchemy lab, enchanter table, chest, cooking pot, and lastly by sleeping you gained a percentage boost for the day. You'll note many on the Destiny forum over 2013 placed in posts for basically flying Breezehomes. Now with GTA V these homes or apts serve as storage for vehicles and some minor interactions. Their best usage lies in providing safety for players when engaged online. The TV set seems the most valuable device in the living space due to entertainment and gathering information on other players or entrances. Other than that they are either unappealing or sterile in design. So you don't see many posts calling for their design aspects in Destiny. Personally I sorta like the higher end garages in GTA V for their simplicity, but you can see they dropped the ball with interactions like working on your car or crafting tables for weapons and basic RPG mechanics that could have added more player investment in these play spaces. So we've all seen the Hangar art in Destiny from the GDC. It's actually very inviting to a gear head or explorer thanks in part to the machinery and open hangar door showcasing the city and mountain ranges in the distance. But this personal space if personal needs mechanics within it to add some importance over basic storage. So basically some sort of crafting table for weapons and armor. NPC ground crews to add life and ambience to the environment. Also it would be interesting to see your created Guardian characters walking around and interacting within this Hangar. Storage has appeal due in part to Skyrim and Bethesda's placement of hundreds of non to essential items. Whether this is important to Destiny remains to be seen. So you get the gist. What do you want in your character's hangar or home space that's interactive? A wine rack? A giant Space Tiger that purrs when you pet it? A stripper pole or Dance floor? You know for those times you need to entertain guests. I know the FPS players are going to choke on their tongues, but consider Bungie places you in third person perspective when interacting in the city, so the game shifts gear to a RPG setting, might as well get in some of the elements that make it worth while.
