Delay does not equal more polish

You are fooling yourself if you think a delay means more time to polish the game. The game is being pushed back for marketing purposes ONLY - not to have more development time. Activision is clearly afraid of Titanfall and the various other A+ titles that will be released in the Spring. Destiny had a chance to lead the way but now it will simply be late to the party. And when does the next piece of crap COD game come out - Nov most likely. Nice faith in your product Activision.

  • I agree with OP. Activision may be scared of the other new games coming out like Titanfall. Destiny and Titanfall were talked about as the beginning of the end for COD. Maybe they pushed it back so if COD goes down they will still have that near November game release with all the other huge titles. Destiny is a 10 year investment for them. They want the time to market and make sure the 1st game goes well and is a good start for the next 3 games and 4 large expansion packs. That being said I don't believe it will be more polished coming out later. I don't think they will be doing nothing in the extra months, just that they have been delayed and need those extra months. They're not adding more to the game. They're just taking longer to deliver the same game they promised us.
