Flood! I am getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow!
What do you suggest I should eat afterwards?
EDIT: I got all four out and I'm doing really well, I wasn't loopy at all when they woke me up and I'm not in pain at all.

2 RepliesI was bleeding for hours after I had mine removed. Did you ask them to put you under? I was wide awake when mine were pulled out.

I only needed two pulled... And I was awake... I did get some local anesthetic... So didn't feel pain... But I sure as hell felt something... And I cried. I think is was more of the anticipation that make me get all squirmy.

I was eating solid food two or three days after, too. Wasn't that bad.

You are really going to hate it afterwards. You get a really bad taste in your mouth and the only thing you can really eat is mashed potatoes or pudding.

dude... that week of mashed potatos is going to suck hardcore. and if you get drysocket(an easily preventable, painful infection), then they may have to resurgify your mouth. TL;DR: prepare yourself for the suck.

Four at once? Damn, that's hardcore. I had them pulled one at a time, but you're not really supposed to smoke with a gaping wound in your mouth which is the part that really sucked. I had to jam balls of cotton wool in the hole to stop the smoke from getting in there.

2 RepliesWhat the doctor tells you to eat. You probably won't have a desire to eat anything for a while. At least, I didn't. I drank soup and protein shakes for a good while. Even after I was able to eat softer and more solid foods. No straws. Don't spit.
