And the yellow tint to my teeth will not for the life of me go away. I've been brushing all over the place, front, back, everywhere in my mouth. I still have a slight yellow tint when I examine after each attempt. The middle looks slightly better but the sides definitely have a more yellow tint to them.
Is this normal? I'm trying to take better care of myself and I have no intention of visiting the damn dentist. Should I just keep brushing until it gets better?
EDIT: UPDATE: I wont ever brush for half an hour again like you guys said. I'll only brush twice a day for five minutes every day. And I'll have a small glass of water after having acidic food/drinks.

Er... Brushing for too long, not long enough, too infrequently or too frequently all cause yellow teeth. The only way to get rid of it is brush for 5 minutes once a day every day. Most people brush twice but this can wear out your teeth faster so if you have bad plaque your teeth are softer and more susceptible to wear from the friction of the tooth brush so only brush once a day, for five minutes, every day, until the yellowing disappears. After that get UV treatment to get glossy white teeth or stick with gray ones if you prefer the natural look.
