Thought this was a fairly detailed video. Sounds like two solid controllers both with minor flaws. Someone in the comments made an interesting point. Since the Wii U, Steam, and PS4 controllers have touch pads this would make it more likely for developers to use and become a standard (and less likely to become a gimmick). What are your guy's thoughts?

I'll never be able to get used to the symmetrical thumb sticks on the PS.

I think the DS4 touchpad is just as big a gimmick as Xbox One's Kinect. Obviously enough, both systems require the aforementioned, so its just something you'll grow to love. That out of the way, I've said it before and I'll say it now, Xbox 360 Controller > DS3, Xbox One Controller = DS4. And with that out of the way, I'll never like the DS symmetrical stick layout. That alone is enough for me to like the Xbox One controller over the DS4.

In that video, the xb1 controller looks small. The ds4 is big and works well with FPS and any other feeling. IMO I just prefer the ds4

Well I think its worth noting its easy to say the PS4 controller feels superior because we are comparing it to the PS3 controller. And then we are comparing the Xbox One controller to the 360 controller. I tried both and I felt the Xbox One controller feels a lot like a 360 controller. While, the PS4 controller feels superior to the PS3 controller (I think the whole "Duel Shock" baloney is another Sony marketing gimmick so I hate when people call the PS4 controller DS4). The guys in the video does a good job and stressing personal preference and I heavily agree with him. If you struggle using a PS3 controller due to the position of the analog sticks then the PS4 controller will also feel awkward using until you get used to it.
