I'm almost always Liberal, but I'm pretty much totally against abortion. There are obviously certain circumstances where it's okay- when it's very early on or if the mother's life is in great danger, but that's all I'll support. I understand that women should have the right to control their bodies, but we really can't go around the fact that there's a living human being inside their belly. There's is absolutely no way to determine when an unborn baby is self-aware, so it's a lot safer just to assume they are, rather than risking the death of a conscious human being. There are too many people who would rather get an abortion than take responsibility for their mistakes. Yes, condoms and birth control can fail, but when you're having sex you should know the risk and prepare to accept the consequences. I know that sounds really lame, but it's better than killing an unborn child just because you don't want to take responsibility for it.
