Personally, I think it's very interesting. It looks to have the potential to either be very intuitive or gimmicky. I've always hated using a keyboard an mouse for non-RTS games, and controllers have been void of innovation for a while. I'm extremely skeptical. Having trackpads instead of analog sticks will make or break the controller. I honestly can't see the trackpad working out. The physical feedback from the friction of pushing an analog stick in one direction allows you to adjust accordingly.
