Even if you like that your parents had you cut doesn't make it right.
If you did not consent to it, and there was no medical emergency that required it, your parents violated your rights when they had your dick cut.
Body integrity is a basic human right. That means that you are entitled to your whole body even if other people don't agree with it.
What is so wrong with respecting personal autonomy?
If you are going to make this claim, then you also have to make the claim that you didn't CHOOSE to be BORN, and therefore, being born is a violation of your right to choose.
I mean, if you admit to being an anti-natalist, great. Excellent. Join the party. We need more of those in society.
But if you AREN'T an anti-natalist, you aren't allowed to make this bogus "right to choose" argument.

You didn't choose whether or not to be born because there was no "you" to make any choices before you were born. You didn't exist in any form capable of thought. As such, you had no rights, since one cannot have rights if one does not exist.

Edited by Player3Th0mas: 9/22/2013 4:00:46 PMThat's the reason you should have been aborted.
-
That's why you have every right to choose to end your life if you're not satisfied, and many take that route.

I didn't choose to not be born. /antinatalismalsoviolatestheabilitytochoose

I still don't understand why people would want to have foreskin in the first place. An uncircumsized penis doesn't even look like a penis. I didn't even know that circumcision was a thing until last week. I just assumed penises looked like circumsized ones do naturally.
-
I mean, I can post all I want the person who inspired this philosophy for me, but the issue is, he's too abrasive, too ugly, too long-winded, or whatever other reason you can think of to not watch the video. I mean, you people claim that I can't argue, but when I present the arguments through somebody who has studied the subject for many more years than I and can put it an a much better way than I ever could, you just don't even bother.

You have to exist to be able choose Therefore, you only have the right to choose once you exist Therefore, being born is your parents way of giving you the right to choose, not them violating it Therefore, checkmate obama

Oh for God's sake, it's a piece of skin with a few more nerve endings in it. Unless the doctor was drunk during the operation, you aren't going to be any less of a man because you do or don't have it. The fact that this is such a heated topic makes me wonder if Freud was right about the Phallic stage after all.

Why are all of your replies in the sub threads so angry and full of insults. When you have to include personal insults attacking the other person instead of arguing the topic it just makes you look that much less intelligent.

Hot topic.

I should sue my parents on the grounds that it makes it look too big and helps reduce my chance of getting an infection that I definitely want.
-
If someone doesn't want to live, they have the power to change that later. You can't grow back your foreskin.

Edited by DTL: 9/22/2013 4:02:00 PMI see the point you're trying to make, but it's really a bit of a stretch. Personally, I find it funny that circumcision is such a heated discussion, yet baby girls with ear piercings are adorable.
-
Well isn't that a huge stretch?
-
I have a good reason for not having come to my own defense.

Verb just turned the cut/uncut argument into an anti-natalist plug....

Do people actually like Verbatim?
