Just downloading all the patches for in now, keen to enter the star wars universe. Who else plays it here?

I've stopped playing it. Now that it's pay to win, I lost all interest.

I just got into it. I have a... I wanna say he's around level 26 Jedi Sentinel. My first character was a smuggler, but he got kind of boring. Honestly though, it's a fun game. The combat is fun, I love how everything is voice acted, and the story is very interesting. Really the only, and therefore biggest (honestly, if it weren't the only one it would still be the biggest regardless) issue with this game... F2P people get screwed. They restrict TONS of features from you if you don't subscribe. Things like you have a cap on how much money you can have, you can't wear Purple (epic) gear you find/ buy, you can only do like 2-5 battlegrounds/spaceship missions per WEEK (real time week too, not in-game), skills for your companions are limited... really just a lot of it sucks. And even more stupid? They MARKET IT LIKE THAT. Their advertisements all say 'F2P means you're restricted!' That's marketing fail 101! You don't say people are restricted! That pisses people off! You say by subscribing you get even MORE! It's about phrasing. Their marketing team is seriously likely people passing their courses back in college with D's.

I got bored after two months and uninstalled it.

Used to around a launch. I got a month free for being in a lot of beta testing, and then another for being an early subscriber. In that time I managed to play through what I wanted and canceled my sub before I was billed and stopped playing. No endgame really hurt SWTOR in my opinion. Don't know the state of it now though.
