Name one thing that disappointed you in ME3 apart from the ending.

Not having as many squadmates as in ME2. One of my favorite aspects of ME2 was having this diverse range of interesting characters to choose from. In 3... you had Garrus, Liara, and a bunch of humans and EDI who was nowhere near as awesome as Legion. And no I don't care about bullshit DLC characters.

  • Only one? -Autodialogue -Dialogue fork -No neutral option -Dialogue options being largely similar with only a difference in tone. -Autodialogue -Shepard is no longer your character -Fetch quests involving scanning for space bibles and space artifacts -Invading people's privacy by eavesdropping to take said fetch quests instead of actually having a conversation with them. -No exploration, consistent with Bioware's "If people don't like it, remove it entirely instead of fixing what was wrong with it" philosophy. -Squadmate interaction is lacking. -Liara favoritism. -Autodialogue -Shepard being depressed over Thessia. Would have been nice if we could actually influence him like in the previous two Mass Effect games. -Playing Renegade is painful in Mass Effect 3, not because of difficult choices but because it's so damn inconsistent. One moment Shepard is a completely nice and respectful dude and the next he's executing people. It's like Shepard is a psychopath. -Journal UI is terrible. -Ashley being sexed up just because Bioware "needed her to be sexy" even though that's inconsistent with her character. -Kai Leng is a horrible antagonist. No wait, I take that back. He's laughable. -Cerberus being the main enemy for most of the game instead of the Reapers. -Cerberus is reduced to being a comic book villain organization. -Cerberus somehow expanded so quickly between Mass Effect 2 and 3 that they've built up a fleet and troops that rival the Alliance. -EMS -Your choices being reduced to nothing more than a number. -Harbinger being nothing more than a cameo. He doesn't even speak to you once. -Anderson is a -blam!-ing moron. -Crucible. "We don't know what it does, but we're gonna build it anyway and rely on this Space MacGuffin." -Your choice regarding the Collector base at the end of Mass Effect 2 not mattering at all. Mass Effect 2 is rendered completely pointless. -No trial like the Arrival DLC heavily hinted was going to occur. Would have been a perfect place for newcomers to make choices from previous games and for veterans to defend their actions. But no, no trial. -The intro is -blam!-ing stupid. There's no build up, it's just "Oh committee wants to talk to m-HOLY SHIT REAPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" -Earth is special for some reason. -Those dream sequences are annoying. I don't give a damn about that kid. Bioware tried so hard to make us care, but they failed. -Instead of attacking and taking control of the Citadel immediately, the Reapers decide to do everything else first. Why? I don't know. You'd think that they'd want to stick to that aspect of the original plan, in order to cut off the galaxy from one another, preventing an organized response from occurring. But no, they're nice enough to wait. -When the Reapers finally take control of the Citadel (What happened to that Defense Force we authorized? They can't be dead, we see traffic when we're inside.), they decide to somehow move it to Earth. Why? I don't know, because Earth is special. -Priority: Earth is nowhere as good as the Suicide Mission. And I would have loved to see all my choices in effect, like Krogan riding dinosaurs or something. But no. Phew, I'm exhausted. If I think of more, I'll edit my post. But for now I'll just leave you with: LOT'S OF SPECULATION FROM EVERYONE!
