That was after alcohol has already been legal, and then they tried to take it away. Which is not the case for weed.

So you're saying that if we legalized marijuana and people realized that prohibition is a bad idea, then people would realize prohibition is a bad idea? that's logical if not redundant and obvious.

I wasn't talking about marjuana when I said prohibition. I was talking about alcohol.

But it's the exact same thing - a substance is banned for no good reason, and it's banning achieves nothing aside from turning people into criminals (of victimless crimes) - guess what that sentence is talking about.
