Not Bank of America, taking away people's homes and -blam!-ing people's lives over or Walmart which is slowly putting mom and pop stores around the country out of business? A gaming company, with a policy that isn't even bad, is the worst in America? I know you may be exaggerating, and I understand that. Considering what happened to SimCity (CEO resigned or something and game got tons of hate) I think they are ramping back just what they meant by "not publishing offline games". It could range from something as simple as a Facebook integration in just the same manner as games like Farmville (Except for the actual 'game' part of Farmville) to no Singleplayer.

Oh my god EA is the worst company ever because they publish games that I don't like, and I feel so entitled that if you make a game that I don't like and you give me a good online experiences at a price, you are the worst company in the world. If thats the case hows it going to work with Dragon age 3? Its easy to integrate mirrors edge with multiplayer so thats not worth mentioning. .

EA is not the worst company in America (they are bad, but come on...), but I can say that I'm less and less inclined to buy an EA title. There are still a couple that I [i]may[/i] buy, however, when we have so many better options to turn to in the industry, why buy something that's likely going to be poorly done compared to other AAA games and overly controlled? The value for many of their games just isn't there for me.

They provide products that are entirely optional (you dont NEED them) if you feel the company is the worst in America, why do you buy the games they publish?

Ugh, That's a real shame because I was slightly looking forwards to sims 4. But if it is just going to be SimCity up close then no thank you. I shall continue to drown children on sims 3. Good day!

3 RepliesEA's a great company. I heard they did an Origins bundle involving 50 games for 1 dollar US which goes directly to some charity or other though I might've been misinformed on that matter. However I think that they do make offline games with some online features, though. But I'm not entirely sure what this interview is about because it's rather vague and it's not like he can talk about individual games because that's up to the developers to talk about...

And just for the record, I thought Peter Moore did an excellent job here. Anyone that claiming EA is the worst company is an idiot. Every company's main goal is to make as much money as possible however they can. EA never shipping a game offline only shows how much they understand the current market and the future of games.
