Lesbian couple in hot water...due to statutory laws.
Has anyone been following this case at all? I've been catching up.
What are your thoughts?
Is this a clear cut case of statutory -blam!-?
Are they being targeted due to orientation?
If this was a man of the same age as the older girl and his partner was the same age as the victim would the outcome, charges, and media attention be different?

It looks to me like they're being treated like almost anyone else would. 14 seems too young to be dating an 18 year old to me.
