Former Archbishop of Canterbury: Christians in Britain and the US who claim that they are persecuted should "grow up" and not exaggerate what amounts to feeling "mildly uncomfortable"

Any thoughts? I personally agree, Christianity is the most dominant religion in the UK and America.

  • Okay. There really isn't any of that brutal persecution in first world countries. But since 'persecution' isn't defined as narrowly as his mass-slaughter criterion, this seems a bit pointless. A person is persecuted when they are harassed, mistreated, or marginalized by another. This does happen. But it also happens to pretty much every other "community" because everyone will never agree on everything. And frankly, I'd rather have people complaining about being harassed than being massacred.
