THIS IS SUCH A BIG -blam!-ING DEAL BECAUSE EPIC TOTALLY DIDNT HYPE THIS WITH GEARS OF WAR 3 TOO!!
Discuss the relevance of Women in video games and why this is totally a big deal.... no really why is this such a big deal? So.. you can play as a chick in a video game...

Why can't I have Child Soldiers

le gurl gamer can be le gurl in the game now ;-)
-
Couldn't you have done this since Halo 3? It just changes the voice, but that was good enough. It's weird how every game news website is dropping bricks over this...

Question: how do we better represent women in games? Answer: stop making such a big deal about them and treat them how we would treat any other character, if a character can be summed up in one word(like say, "woman"), then they are a bad character regardless of their sex/gender/race/beliefs/whateverpoisonyoupicked. Also, I can't stress that first bit enough, that whole dragon's crown thing was beyond cringe-worthy.

Meanwhile Battlefield is still one big sausage fest.

At least the kids will be too busy looking at their boobs now to scream through the mic.

I like the idea of female soldiers in games since female players can relate, but I agree it shouldn't be a big deal. I think since CoD is doing it, people think it's innovative.
-
Because it allows people to play as girls in a shooter that has been mainly associated with males. It's not a huge deal but it's something that people wanted. I see it being a good thing and a bad thing. Good because of more choice, bad because of the immaturity that is the COD community.

Me and my friends were talking about this a long time ago. I forget what we were talking about exactly, I think it was something about females being able to serve in combat roles now and one of them mentioned something about CoD doing the same eventually. I'm not surprised, it honestly makes no difference...
