I'm not sure, on one hand, you could probably completely escape into your mind, so you wouldn't really have to deal with it (hey, maybe that's what [i]we[/i] really are...), but it still creeps me out at the moment.

What's the difference if you're living in your own mind and experiencing reality? The only time there would be a difference is if you KNEW you were living in your own mind. That your brain was your cell and you're sentenced to life in it. But if you could feel all the feelings, feel adventure, have fun, experience everything you already do in the real world without the fear of death...then what's the damn point? You do things because you know death is approaching, and you don't know what corner it will creep out from, whether it will be in broad daylight or in the pitch black night. If I knew I wouldn't die, if nobody could kill me, I'd do whatever I wanted to do without risk. And then I'd do all of it, and get bored, probably browse the internet, and do whatever "fad" is created next. Sounds quite boring if you ask me.
