Undoing good progress (fix quoting)
Seriously, what are you guys doing?
Nobody wants to have to DELETE EVERYTHING they DON'T want to have in their quote. We want to be able to select ONLY what we DO want to have. That's why I was very much enjoying the ease with which you could just copy the text from the OP, highlight it and quote just like that. You've just made quoting more of a hassle.
- More typing
- More time wasted
- You had it RIGHT before!
Please put it back to the way it was.

Edited by Ryan: 8/12/2013 3:09:15 AMI prefer the way it worked on the old site, which is how it works now (i.e. you quote someone and it copies everything they typed). Why do I like this way better? Because it preserves the formatting of the post that you are replying to. If they have a link, a quote, or stylized text, then your quote will automatically copy that formatting. If you manually copy and paste, the formatting is not preserved.
