I'm thinking of building a gaming Mac

So with serious top-notch high end games recently becoming available for the Mac, such as Civ 5 and Borderlands 2, I've decided to build a gaming Mac. The level of customisation for Macs is definitely a major point for Apple - you can choose between an incredible 5 models to determine which suits you best; the Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, Macbook Pro w/Retina, Mac Mini, and the iMac. Heck, you can even choose between a whopping 3 discrete graphics cards for your Mac. lol, what's next, having us customizing our motherboards? Another point in favour of Macs is price, you can pick up a 21-inch iMac for about $1700, absolute peanuts compared to pricey PCs. (although a 'good' gaming mac would cost something like $2600, which still compares favourably to overpriced PCs). That's not even mentioning the awesome range of games, games like XCOM, Black Ops (we only had to wait 3 years), Civ V, BL2, and of course a whole App store chock full of high-end quality games by Indie developers. Choke on that, PC fanboys. Based on the indisputable evidence presented within this thread, you can clearly see that Macintosh computers are far the superior option to PCs for gaming. TL;DR: Macs are superior to PCs in terms of customization, price and games, making it the machine of choice for gaming purists. Suck it filthy PC peasants.
