meet and greet

just throwing this out here guys. Some of us have been working with each other already. Some of us have not. I think it would be a good idea to introduce out characters to each other, get acquainted with them. Lt. Aleroth Aloki. Leader of Dragon squad. Human Titan. Being the son of a beloved leader who has died, Aleroth seeks to do what he can to protect the people he cares about, first and foremost. Aside from that, he seeks to see that anyone around him lives to see another day. He will fight officers who willingly toss their men into hopeless situations and will fight for the men and women who happen to be under his command. Slowly but surely, he will rise through the ranks so he can do just that, keeping as many fellow Guardians he can to return home to their families.

  • I've decided to introduce may character in an assessment report from one of his superiors, I've never tried this before so its going to be a little odd for me. As always criticism is always appreciated as well as compliments. Name: "Hatter" Class: Warlock Race: Exo Quite the unusual character this... "Hatter"... The first of his traits that I noticed was his silence, he seems to have poor communication skills. Either he has non or if he just neglects them, it's beyond me. On the contrary to what I originally assumed, he was very obedient during the simulation, followed every order. He seemed to favor the shotgun, maybe a little too much for his own good. Even when the contacts were obviously out of range he seemed to refuse the use of his rifle. Something else I was worried about during the combat sim was what seemed to be a twitch or a tick. After the official assessment I sat down to talk with the engineers that had made the repairs on Hatter. Naturally my first question referred to his communication skills, they had told me that he was built during the golden age but was forced into a total shutdown due to the lack of maintenance. The engineers told me how they had to replace almost every part with a near exact replica. When they began work on the brain they were able to fix most of the problems but were unable to correct his psychological difficulties which would explain the twitch and the silence. Later that day I called the Exo into my office for an interview, my first question was about his first memory. His behavior was odd at first, he wasn't nervous, he wasn't excited, he seemed distant as if he were locked in his own thoughts. When his attention was drawn back to my question he only answered with one word, "waking" After a few moments of thinking he continued, "It was dark, I searched for something that could work as a light source but when I found a switch it wouldn't budge." He took a couple more moments to think, "I struggled with the lever for a little longer before someone else came to help." He snickered "When we finally moved the damn thing the lights came on one by one and it was then that we first realized we weren't human." "You didn't know?" "No." That last word echoed in my mind, he said it with such a powerful tone, sadness without sorrow. We sat there a while without any words exchanged. He didn't like the quiet, I saw it in his face. So he broke through the powerful silence, "I may not be human on the outside, but I can feel... I can think... I know I'm human, somewhere." He returned to my question, "After we left the warehouse the first thing I saw was a giant sphere, hovering over the surface of the earth. I couldn't help but feel responsible for it, I felt I needed to protect it." "So that's why you came here?" "Yes, I think it played a part in reviving me and my friend. I will protect the sphere and the city beneath it with my life." The interview was basically over at that point, all I needed was his loyalty, to be sure he was a soldier. So I dismissed him and immediately began filling out the papers, and as I write this assessment I have no doubt in my mind that that boy will make a fine guardian. Again complements and criticism are appreciated
