We can mute users, but why not groups?

So what if there's a constant stream of totally non-thought provoking, uninteresting shit coming out of a given group? How do I solve that? Were it a single user, I'd have just the tool for the job. However, when it's a group who can't seem to keep to themselves, I am helpless as a user. So help me, Bungie. Help me make your form the best place I can hang out. Help me help you help me help you. Thank you.

    Sapphire is the only really active group at the moment, it's a fact that causes lots of buttmad in this community. You could just grow up. I'm not saying it's easier, but at least the web team doesn't have to waste time on that. wait, this is old. what I said is still true though
