Now that it's unfortunately confirmed, that there are no race specifical abilities, I will play as a human. Try to make him look like myself.
What class? Don't know, yet. I sadly didn't see much differences between the warlock and the hunter abilites in the gameplay- presentation. Warlock has a shockwave- attack (one hit kill), and the hunter a special shot (one hit kill).
I hope, I'll be wrong, but I'm afraid, that all classes will be quite equal, exept of one special attack. If that will be a fact, i'm not interested in this game, anymore.

That is an insane amount of assumption based off of little to no information. What a grump you must be, lol.

First things first: i'm not a 12 year old kid, crying out it's emotional fart of disappointment in this forum. Normally I think twice, what I'm going to post here and what not. You are right at this point, when You say, it might be too early for critics. But I wouldn't have posted this, when I won't have heard a minimum of facts. And one of this fact was mentioned at Bungies comment to the gameplay- release. Bungie had explained, that the choices of races and classes won't have a big influence at the gameplay (with the expectation, that every class has one single special ability). It should be primarly for aesthetic/ unique look. I undestand why Bungie made this decision, but I don't like the way it goes. When the player characters will be equalized in that way, then one of my principal reasons, why I wanted to play Destiny is gone. I remember some catchwords that made me think, that this game will be revolutionary: YOU will become a legend. YOU will be the destiny of mankind. It made me think, that I can play Destiny in my individual way, with my own abilities. And now everybody should be the same? Where is the promised individuality!??? Greetings, from the "grump"!:-)

Just because the classes will be able to do a lot of similar things you think you can't make yourself different? Did you forget that even if the 3 classes were completely different and you choose one then you're still the same at 33% of players. It's how you play, where you explore, what skills and weapons you choose that ultimately decides your Destiny. Open your mind a little and you will surely be amazed. The reason they want everyone to pretty much be able to do most things is so that people don't play 12 hours with their guy and realize they like the Warlocks class more than the Hunter. This lets you be whoever you want to be no matter what class you are, through the infinite amount of choices you can make throughout your journey.

It's not about the classes or the abilities its about the guns you find and customized they will be the key they want it to be fair having one class which everyone's using because it's better then the rest isn't fair or fun its boring if everyone's the same way your thinking is narrow minded stop seeing one thing and see the game as a hole

Ok, Bungie has not released the full potential of Destiny, so maybe You're right to say, that my critics come a little bit too early. But are YOU satisfied with the FACT, that the players only differ by the weapons and gear, they wear? Maybe for many people it's ok and fair, that the player characters are quite equal. But I had more expectations. I thought, I'll be able to create an more individual character with his own unique skills and story.
-
Yeah I do understand what your saying but what they want is people to think oo his characters better then mine because of these different skills I think they done right because with gear you can customize everything even the Armour you get has different levels you can upgrade I think I heard one them say in a e3 interview so if you got millions of guns which u can customized individually and u see someone with a awsomeee gun or Armour instead of being mad at your choice in character your more driven to play to find better equipment I think it's different there are a lot of points that make this not a mmo that's why they don't like destiny to be called a mmo I personally like the classes so far if the customisation makes you unique I will be searching the universe for the gear I love and who's to say you won't get more skills as your character levels up dude
-
On the topic of destiny not being an mmo it will infact be massive with all the worlds to explore it is of cource be multiplayer and to be multiplayer it will also be online oh look at that it spells mmo which is weird be cause as bungi says its deinitely not an mmo
-
In a interview I saw the guy said they don't want to call it a mmo because they don't want to be tied down to the negative sides of a mmo such as subscriptions and stuff he said of corse there obviously are parts of most mmos in there such as it being a massive multiplayer game but I think there trying to create something new dude though it would just be easy for them to say yeah its a mmo I think at the moment there just 100% trying to put across that there's no subscription fee to drive more people to show interest

Hey mate, maybe don't over dramatize a game you still know little about? Wait until the game is launched before you make you final decision. Who knows, Bungie might surprise you with something.
-
Of course, I will do. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay presenation was awesome! But Bungies comment to the gameplay a day later was a little bit chastening for me. There where some small, (but for my expectations important) facts, that I don't like. I hope that my enthuisiasm for this game will come back, when there is more information released.
-
I know where you're coming from, the moment i saw Activision at the bottom of some images I was really iffy about it all. But I have faith in Bungie, I know they'll make a great game... Activions pretty much their B*tch after the Halo series.

Perhapse what bungi mean to say was that no specific class will be the most powerfull but they may have different roles on the battlefield maybe the titians will be tanks and heavy weapons and the hunters may be snipers or something
